Text Message Terms

NCT Career Services LLC, doing business as Next Chapter Talent (“Next Chapter Talent”), sends text messages to job seekers, candidates and clients who have agreed to receive them. This page explains the program, how people opt in and how to stop.

What we text about

• Updates on a job application you made through nextchaptertalent.com/jobs
• Recruiter replies about roles you applied for or asked us about
• Scheduling and reminders for interviews, recruiter calls and coaching sessions
• Replies to questions you send us by text

We do not send marketing blasts, and we never text anyone who has not agreed to it.

How you opt in

On this page. The form above asks for your name, email and mobile number. The text message box starts unticked, and the form only submits once you tick it. We record the date and the exact wording you agreed to.

On a job application. When you apply for a role on our job board, the application form has an optional checkbox for text messages. It is unchecked by default and is not required to apply. When you tick it, you enter your mobile number, and we record the date and the exact wording you agreed to. It reads:

Next Chapter Talent may text me about this application, including recruiter replies and interview scheduling. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Privacy Policy: nextchaptertalent.com/privacy

With a recruiter. When you give your mobile number to one of our recruiters and agree to be contacted by text about a role or an appointment, we note that agreement on your record before texting you.

Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of applying, of any purchase or of any service.

Frequency and cost

Message frequency varies with your application or appointments, typically a few messages a month. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

How to stop, and how to get help

Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one message confirming it and no further texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (877) 389-7954 or info@nextchaptertalent.com. You can opt back in by replying START.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not share or sell mobile phone numbers or text message opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
