NCT Career Services LLC (“we,” “us,” or “Next Chapter Talent”) operates the Career Launchpad website at nextchaptertalent.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

• Account & Contact Information — Name, email address, phone number, and billing address provided during enrollment or form submissions.
• Payment Information — Payment details are collected and processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.
• LinkedIn Credentials — If you grant access to your LinkedIn account as part of the service, we use it solely to deliver the services described in the Service Agreement.
• Usage & Device Data — We and our analytics and advertising partners collect usage data such as pages visited, time on site, referral source, and device or cookie identifiers to improve our website and measure our marketing. See “Cookies, Analytics & Advertising Technologies” below for details.

2. How We Use Your Information

3. Artificial Intelligence

AI does real work in this service, so here is exactly where.

• What we use it for — rewriting your résumé and LinkedIn profile, building and ranking your target company list, drafting outreach messages, preparing interview questions and feedback on practice answers, producing your daily action plan, and answering questions in the chat assistant on this site.
• What gets processed — the information you give us for those purposes: your résumé, intake answers, LinkedIn content, target preferences, practice interview recordings and transcripts, and, with your consent, coaching session transcripts.
• Who processes it — Anthropic (Claude) is our AI provider. We do not permit our AI vendors to train their models on your data, and we do not sell it or use it for advertising.
• A human stays in the loop — AI output is a draft. Your coach reviews résumé and profile rebuilds before they are delivered, and nothing is sent to an employer on your behalf without your approval. No decision that significantly affects you is made by automated means alone.
• Coaching transcripts are opt-in — we only use them to help your coach remember context if you have explicitly consented. You can withdraw that at any time in Settings → Privacy in the dashboard.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Payment Processors — Stripe processes all payments on our behalf.
• Service Providers — the companies that run parts of the platform on our behalf, under contract:
  • Anthropic, AI processing (see section 3)
  • Supabase, database and file storage for the client dashboard
  • Clerk, sign-in and account authentication
  • Resend, delivery of our emails to you
  • Vercel, hosting for this site and the dashboard
  • Clay, company and contact data enrichment used to build your target list
  • Google, our team's business email and the calendar used to book your coaching calls
  • Apple and Google, push notification delivery if you use our mobile app
• Analytics & Advertising Partners — We use Meta (Facebook) and Google to measure our marketing and show relevant ads. This may involve sharing cookie-based identifiers and hashed identifiers (such as a hashed email, name, or phone number) with these platforms. See “Cookies, Analytics & Advertising Technologies” below.
• Legal Requirements — If required by law, regulation, or legal process.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest. LinkedIn credentials and other sensitive data are handled with strict confidentiality as outlined in our Service Agreement.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Opt out of marketing communications
• Opt out of the “sharing” of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (for example, California residents under the CCPA/CPRA). You can opt out by adjusting your browser cookie settings, using the controls described below, or contacting us.

8. Cookies, Analytics & Advertising Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including third-party analytics and advertising tools, to understand how visitors use our site, measure our marketing, and show relevant ads:

• Google Analytics — measures site usage such as pages visited, time on site, and referral source.
• Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) — helps us measure the effectiveness of our advertising and show relevant ads to people who have visited our site. When you submit a form, the Meta Pixel may use “advanced matching” to send a hashed (irreversible) version of information such as your email, name, or phone number to Meta to better match your visit to a Facebook account. This information is hashed in your browser before it is sent. We do not share financial, health, or government-ID information with Meta.
• Google Ads — measures ad conversions and supports remarketing.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and manage your Meta ad preferences in your Facebook account settings. To opt out of advertising-related sharing, you may also contact us at info@nextchaptertalent.com.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our services are intended for adults seeking work. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. You must be at least 18 to subscribe, or be enrolled by a parent or legal guardian who agrees to our terms on your behalf.

This matters more than usual for us because of what we hold: a resume, a photograph, work history, and a target list of people you want to reach. If you believe a child under 13 has given us any of that, contact us at info@nextchaptertalent.com and we will delete it, along with the account it sits in, and confirm when it is done. You do not need to explain why.

Where we learn that a user is between 13 and 17, we do not use their information for targeted advertising and do not share it with advertising partners.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
